LEARN BARI✨STAR SKILLS
Our young entrepreneurs learn barista and business skills over 12 sessions and project manage their own gig earning 50% of the profits.
We offer practical and creative training for young people who struggle with academic programs.

WE'VE GOT ANSWERS
Get Fed was founded by Tim Parkhouse, a Youth Worker with 20+ years experience in Criminal Justice.
Tim saw the rising numbers of excluded children and those missing school, the closed youth clubs and the success of the drug dealers and wondered how things could be improved for young people who are not academic but are entrepreneurial?
Fed up with constant cuts to funding he needed a Social Enterprise to provide the resources to work with some of our brightest talent who do their best work outside of the classroom.
An amazing corporate sponsor bought us our little coffee van and we started training young entrepreneurs in barista and business skills.
It works! ☕️🤎✌🏼
Get Fed works with partner schools and also young people who have statutory Social Work intervention.
Sessions with young people are usually funded by school or other statutory agencies so there is no cost to the family or individual.

Young people aged 13 - 17 at risk of exclusion and/or exploitation.
Young people who are not doing well at school are more likely to be excluded and more likely to be exploited into criminal activity.
We know they don't drink coffee but they probably don't use cocaine when they are groomed by gangsters.
Teaching them how to make and sell frothy coffee is our way of trying to replicate the success of the drug dealers; safely and legally.
For 10's of thousands of children in the UK the reality is they are missing school and maybe desperate for cash possibly even just to feed themselves. Selling cocaine is a quick route to cash but at great risk.
Get Fed promotes enterprise and provides the opportunity for young entrepreneurs to learn employment skills and earn on our coffee van. No child should feel forced into drugs exploitation or modern day slavery.
Not quite.
We are a Community Interest Company Limited by Guarantee which is legally as close as you can get to being a charity.
We are 'not for profit' so all surplus income is used to help more young people become even sharper hustlers. Safely and legally. ✌🏼
